Pupils and teachers who would like to take part in lunch should register in the Hand.Fest customer portal {Play}
1. register for lunch:
Visit our website and click on the ‘Order lunch’ button and then on the ‘To registration for new customers’ field. {Play}
2. receive access data by e-mail:
After submitting the form, you will receive the access data to the e-mail address provided. Please also check your spam folder. {Play}
3. log in and add data:
Log in to the customer portal with the access data you have received and check or complete the details you have entered. Siblings can be added in this section. {Play}
4. order food:
In order to meet the needs of your children, you can select the lunch for the entire month individually. The order deadline is always Tuesday by 12:00 noon for the meal of the coming week. Please remember that only pre-ordered food will be served. If your child falls ill, you can easily cancel the meal for that day by 8:30 am. {Play}
No, if you have already registered for school meals in the Hand.Fest customer portal (formerly Kundennah), you do not need to register again. Your registration will automatically remain valid. {Play}
The cancellation of a contract is only possible in writing by e-mail with a notice period of four weeks to the end of the month: kunden@handfest-berlin.de The cancellation becomes effective as soon as you have received a confirmation e-mail from us. {Play}
To reset your access data, follow these steps: {Play}
- Call up the Hand.Fest customer portal.
- Click on ‘Forgot password’.
- Answer the security question you have specified.
- The system will then reactivate your account.

Please include your child's full name (surname, first name) and the name of the school in the email. We will then send you new login details immediately. {Play}
Orders and changes to the menu selection can be made via the customer portal up to the specified order deadline. If you are unable to attend lunch due to illness, please cancel your order for the day in question by 8.30 a.m. at the latest. {Play}
Please note that a later cancellation is not possible. {Play}
- Click on the ‘Order meals’ button to go to the customer portal.
- Log in to your customer account.
- Click on the ‘Menu/menu selection’ button.
- Cancel your meal order:
- Remove the tick from the dish you wish to cancel.
Click on the ‘Order’ button to save your selection. Only then will your changes/selection be saved.
Note: Please note the time. Cancellations must be made by 8:30 a.m. of the same day at the latest. {Play}
Lunch at secondary schools:
When you sign the contract, you give us a direct debit authorisation. We will debit the amount for the meals ordered on the 5th of each month. All cancellations will be charged in the following month. The processing time is approx. 3-4 days. Incorrect details of the customer number will extend the processing time. Please check your details carefully. {Play}
For secondary school students with a valid Berlinpass, the meal is free of charge, but registration is also required. We also need a copy of your Berlinpass, which you should send to us by email to kunden@handfest-berlin.de. Thank you very much! {Play}
Lunch at primary schools:
School lunches are generally free of charge for primary school pupils. {Play}
Once you have successfully registered, the chip card will be sent to your school's food counter. You can collect this from our serving staff in the school canteen after 3-4 days. {Play}
Send an e-mail to: kunden@handfest-berlin.de Please include your full first and last name and the name of your school in the e-mail. After paying a fee of EUR 5, you will receive a replacement chip card. You can collect this from our issuing staff in the school canteen after 3-4 days. {Play}
For primary school pupils:
Participation in lunch for pupils at primary schools in Berlin is free of charge. The costs are covered by the state of Berlin. For secondary school pupils: The current prices can be viewed in the customer account. {Play}
Lunch is free of charge for secondary school pupils with a valid Berlinpass. Registration is required. Send a copy of the Berlinpass to: kunden@handfest-berlin.de {Play}
For teachers:
The current prices can be viewed in the customer account. An electronic invoice (PDF file) for the previous month is created at the beginning of the month. All ordered and spontaneous meals will be invoiced. {Play}

I am a teacher, can I take part in the school lunch? {Play}
Teachers are welcome to take part in the lunch programme. To do so, they must register in the customer portal, where the current prices can be viewed. At the beginning of the month, an electronic invoice (PDF file) is created for the previous month, on which all ordered and spontaneous meals are billed. {Play}
Meals are served at the meal serving terminal in conjunction with an individual chip card as a means of identification. The chip card is uniquely assigned to the student with an ID, without storing any personal data. The first chip card is free of charge, in case of loss a replacement card will be issued for 5 EUR. {Play}
